Ryan and I were messing around the other day with Pocket Wizards, off-camera hot shoe flash, and a Canon PowerShot G16 we often take on casual photo travel. This camera has many of the features that come in a DSLR so we decided to try a portrait. The setup included the camera on a tripod (manual settings), Pocket Wizard in the hot shoe triggering another Pocket Wizard. The second Pocket Wizard was firing a Canon Speedlite connected to a 30" Lastolite softbox. We used this flash as a master wirelessly firing another Speedlite being used for fill. The portrait you see is the image I like best out of about 20 total images. Enjoy.
