Known for making a song brand new again and embracing it as her own, sensational internationally-acclaimed song stylist Camille Sledge performed unique jazz renditions of uplifting women’s anthems and songs by torch-bearers such as Chaka Khan, Aretha Franklin, Lynn Collins, and her mother Debbie Sledge’s group, Sister Sledge. Camille and her trio included funk and soul songs by such artists as Roy Ayers, Queen Latifah and James Brown for what was an exciting afternoon of live music!
